Are you passionate about exotic pets and hands-on work? The Bug Company, a leader in the pet industry, is hiring a Shipping Team Member to join our growing team. We specialize in shipping live insects for reptile and exotic pet owners across the country. This is a full-time, on-site position in Ham Lake, MN — perfect for someone who enjoys active, detailed work and has a genuine interest in exotic animals.

As a Shipping Team Member, you’ll play a key role in preparing and packaging orders — including live insects — to ensure they arrive safely to fellow exotic pet enthusiasts.

• Assemble and prepare orders with accuracy and care
• Package live insects and products securely
• Label shipments clearly and correctly
• Report inventory or shipping concerns to leadership
• Keep the work area clean and follow all safety guidelines
• Collaborate with your team to meet daily shipping targets
• Operate basic warehouse tools and equipment (training provided)
• Treat all live insects with care and attention

• Previous warehouse or shipping experience preferred, but not required
• Must be comfortable handling live insects and supplies
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and move heavy packages throughout the day
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to learn — we’ll train the right person!

• Sunday – Thursday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

** Hours will fluctuate based on the shipping schedules and the company's needs**
