Jani-King is seeking a dependable and hardworking
Floor Technician / Commercial Cleaning Team Member
to provide nightly janitorial and floor-care services at a commercial facility in
Hammond, Louisiana
. This position plays an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, sanitary, and professional environment for employees, customers, and visitors. The technician will be responsible for routine commercial cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, removing trash, cleaning common areas, and maintaining hard-surface flooring. Floor-care responsibilities may include operating automatic floor scrubbers and other commercial cleaning equipment as needed. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and can consistently complete assigned cleaning duties to Jani-King standards.

The ideal candidate is reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently as well as part of a commercial cleaning team. Employees are expected to follow established cleaning procedures, safety requirements, and facility-specific instructions while properly using and caring for cleaning supplies and equipment. Candidates must have
reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass a background check
. Previous commercial janitorial, custodial, or floor-care experience is preferred, but dependable candidates who are willing to learn may also be considered. This is a
part-time evening position working Sunday through Thursday from 8:00 PM to 12:00 AM, approximately 20 hours per week, at $15.00 per hour
