Trash Technician

Job Summary

Summary: Collects, transports, and properly disposes of trash and bio-hazardous materials following established safety protocols.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Identifies, transports, and disposes of trash, chemicals, and bio-hazardous materials using proper safety procedures.
• Performs cleaning functions as assigned; properly operates cleaning equipment as designated.
• Recognizes safety hazards and acts accordingly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must have physical ability to walk, stand and push trash containers weighing 50 to 100 pounds.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.

Location
: 402 John Dodd Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29303.

Schedule
:
Full time schedule. Sunday through Wednesday 6:00am - 6:00pm OR 6:00pm - 6:00am OR Wednesday through Saturday, 6:00am - 6:00pm OR 6:00pm - 6:00am. More details during interview.

Requirement
:
Position may require heavy lifting up to 50lbs. Previous experience is preferred.

Fixed Pay Rate
: $14.00 per hour
