R Field Service Technician I
Location: Hanford, CA (ASP) – Ammonia production & filling
Pay & Benefits- Pay: $35.16/hr – Overtime after 40 hours/week (double time for Sundays and holidays)
- Safety Bonus Pay: up to $1,500 annually
- Per Diem: up to $10,000 annually (200 nights/yr × $55)
- Hotel and travel accommodations covered by Airgas
- Referral Bonus: $1,000
- Paid weekly via direct deposit
- Schedule:
95% travel, must be flexible - Route coverage: up to 350-mile radius
- Equipment: CDL A bulk tanker

- Benefits start after 30 days of employment
- Provide support to the Airgas field service team and plant operations.
- Work with customers and corporate staff to resolve problems and issues with various systems.
- Remove ammonia liquid and vapor from multiple sources, including refrigeration systems, storage tanks, and pipelines.
- Install and maintain ammonia tanks, piping, and pumps.
- Provide support to the Airgas Specialty Products sales team.
- Maintain proper parts inventory in service vans and warehouse.
- Document work via work orders and service agreements.
- Maintain a neat, clean, professional appearance.
- Maintain trucks, trailers, and vans in clean and safe condition.
- Maintain site‑specific training records.
- At least 25 years old.
- Class A CDL with at least 2 years CMV experience within the last 4 years; tanker/hazmat endorsements required before hire.
- Graduation from an accredited truck driving school with diploma counts as 1 year required experience.
- No preventable accidents in last 3 years.
- No more than 2 minor tickets in previous 3 years.
- No serious violation tickets (speeding 15+, reckless driving, etc.) in previous 3 years.
- No CDL suspensions in previous 3 years except for failure to pay child support.
- No DUI in last 7 years.
- Must be able to lift 60 lbs. or more.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Tanker experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ammonia experience.
