Utility Worker

MV Transportation is seeking a Utility Worker to support safe, reliable transit operations. In this role, you will clean and service vehicles, facilities, and grounds, ensuring a professional, customer-ready environment. You'll assist maintenance teams with basic shop and yard tasks, refuel and stage vehicles, and report safety or mechanical concerns. Working on-site, you'll follow strict safety, PPE, and cleaning standards while supporting drivers, mechanics, and passengers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of vehicles, facilities, and grounds to MV safety and appearance standards
• Assist maintenance staff with basic shop and yard tasks
• Refuel, wash, and stage vehicles for daily service
• Safely operate cleaning and light equipment following procedures
• Monitor supplies and report needed repairs or hazards
• Follow all safety, PPE, and OSHA guidelines
• Complete basic logs or checklists accurately and on time
• Provide courteous support to operators, mechanics, and passengers as needed
