HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT IN THIS ROLE?
As a Maintenance Technician, you will help ensure our residential communities remain safe, functional, and welcoming for residents. You will perform a wide range of maintenance, repair, and turnover activities that directly contribute to property quality, resident satisfaction, and operational excellence.
You will diagnose and repair maintenance issues, complete apartment turnovers, respond to service requests, and assist with maintaining building systems, grounds, and common areas. You will also participate in an on-call rotation to address emergency maintenance needs and help ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Your work will make a visible difference every day by helping residents enjoy a well-maintained place to live while supporting the overall success of our housing communities.
WHO YOU ARE?
You are dependable, resourceful, and take pride in solving problems. You enjoy working with your hands, managing a variety of tasks, and finding practical solutions to maintenance challenges.
You provide excellent customer service, communicate professionally with residents and team members, and understand the importance of completing work safely and efficiently. You can work independently on routine repairs while knowing when to seek additional support for more complex issues.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Ideally, you have experience across multiple maintenance disciplines, enjoy staying busy, and are committed to creating a positive living experience for residents.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED and 2-3 years of verifiable apartment maintenance or general maintenance experience; OR
- Equivalent combination of education, training, and 4+ years of direct maintenance experience.
- Demonstrated experience in multiple maintenance areas including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and carpentry.
- Ability to safely operate hand and power tools commonly associated with maintenance, construction, and landscaping.
- HVAC Certification preferred.
