Field Service Technician (NE Regional) | Food Processing & Packaging OEM

Location: PA, NJ, or NY (Remote/Field-Based)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Are you a skilled Field Technician looking to join a growing US-based manufacturer? We are working with an OEM of high‑quality food processing and packaging machinery, and due to significant growth, they are expanding their Northeast operations.

This is a brand‑new position designed to establish a stronger regional presence. While you will eventually focus on the NE corridor, you will join a supportive national team that collaborates to ensure coverage and success across the board.

The Role:

Growth and Travel

As this is a new expansion for the region, your first year will be focused on intensive training. You will travel extensively, shadowing senior technicians to learn our proprietary equipment inside and out.

  • Regional Focus: Once trained, your primary territory will be PA, NJ, and NY
  • Location - NY, NJ, PA.
  • Travel Expectation: Heavy travel is required, particularly in Year 1.
  • Work-Life Balance: While occasional weekend work is necessary, you will be home most weekends.
  • Stability: We provide a guaranteed 40‑hour work week with consistent weekly overtime opportunities.
Candidate Requirements

We are looking for a technical professional who takes pride in US‑built machinery and enjoys solving complex problems on‑site.

  • Experience: 4–5 years as a Field Service Technician.
  • Industry Background: Prior experience with equipment in the Food, Beverage, or Pharmaceutical sectors is highly preferred.
  • Technical

    Skills:

    Strong proficiency in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Experience with hydraulics.
  • Hands‑on expertise in mechanical assembly, building, and repair.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable with a high‑travel role and a "startup" energy within an established regional expansion.
