Facilities and Maintenance Assistant

The Facilities and Maintenance Assistant at the Christian School Association of Greater Harrisburg (CSAGH) supports a Christ-centered K-12 learning environment by helping keep buildings and grounds clean, safe, and well-maintained. This role performs routine maintenance, minor repairs, and custodial tasks across CSAGH campuses, assists with event setups and room configurations, and supports grounds care, including snow removal. The Assistant partners with school staff, models servant leadership, and helps ensure spaces reflect CSAGH's mission of academic excellence and discipleship.

Responsibilities

• Support daily facilities upkeep across CSAGH campuses, ensuring clean, safe, and orderly learning environments
• Perform routine maintenance, minor repairs, and basic troubleshooting of building systems, classrooms, and common areas
• Set up and break down rooms for classes, chapels, events, and activities in collaboration with school staff
• Assist with grounds care, including snow removal, light landscaping, and exterior cleanliness and safety
• Monitor facilities for safety or maintenance concerns and promptly report issues to the Facilities Manager
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules and accurately document work performed and supplies used
• Coordinate with external vendors or contractors on-site as directed by leadership
• Model Christ-like character, servant leadership, and support of CSAGH's mission in daily work and interactions
