Maintenance Planner Scheduler

The Maintenance Planner/Scheduler evaluates work requests, develops job scopes, estimates resources, and inspects job sites to ensure safe and efficient completion. They gather technical documentation, verify parts availability, and coordinate with teams to prioritize and plan maintenance activities. The role involves maintaining organized work order backlogs, updating job plans for continuous improvement, and conducting planning meetings to align priorities.

• Develop and schedule work orders, including preventive maintenance tasks, maximizing technician labor utilization.
• Maintain accurate records and reports for maintenance analysis.
• Train and support site employees on the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Improve planning and scheduling effectiveness through metric reviews and process enhancements.

• Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent experience (1-3 years in maintenance planning/scheduling or 5-10 years as a machine repair technician).
• Industrial manufacturing environment familiarity, electrical/mechanical aptitude.
• Proficiency with computers, maintenance systems, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.
• Desirable certifications include CMRP, Green Belt, or STS.
