Housekeeper

Rate: $15.00-$17.79 per hour.

• 7:00 am-3:30 pm, Saturday rotation every 7th Saturday & Sunday on call
• 80 hours per pay period
• Eligible for benefits at time of hire

This position is primarily responsible for the general cleaning, floor care, refurbishment, and renovation of private residences as well as public areas when needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess a pleasant personality and demeanor, and demonstrate a desire to work in an environment with residents. Ability to understand and carry out oral and written assignments; ability to perform the duties listed in the job description with limited supervision.
• Self‑motivated, able to schedule time wisely and accommodate changes. Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Strong work ethic, fast learner.
• Ability to work quickly and carefully in a safe manner, and motivate others to do the same.
• Must be able to operate all power equipment within the VMRC campus safely.
• Works in reaching or strained positions for about half the day.
• Must report to work in uniform.
• Requires an acceptable DMV driving record to obtain authorization on the VMRC‑approved drivers list if driving a VMRC vehicle is needed.
