Loar Group (NYSE: LOAR) is seeking a Facilities Manager to support the continued growth and operational performance of one of its aerospace manufacturing and R&D businesses in the Northeastern US. Loar Group specializes in acquiring and growing companies that design and manufacture highly engineered products for the global aerospace & defense market. Through its portfolio of niche businesses across the US and Europe, Loar supports nearly every major aircraft platform with mission‑critical components.
The Facilities Manager will:
- Lead day-to-day operation and reliability of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, compressed air, and fire protection.
- Own preventive and corrective maintenance programs for facility and production support equipment.
- Ensure facilities operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with OSHA, EPA, and aerospace regulatory standards.
- Lead facility upgrades, equipment installations, and infrastructure projects to support growth and operational needs.
- Manage external contractors and vendors to deliver maintenance and projects on time and within budget.
- Maintain documentation and readiness for audits, inspections, and environmental health and safety requirements.
- Develop and manage operating and capital budgets for facilities and maintenance activities.
- Source and oversee service contracts across building systems, janitorial, landscaping, and security.
- Supervise facilities and maintenance staff, including performance management and training.
- Drive a safe operating environment through training, procedures, and daily oversight.
- Hands‑on management of industrial facility systems (mechanical and electrical infrastructure)
- Strong working knowledge of HVAC, power distribution, compressed air, and building utilities in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience building and executing preventive maintenance programs using CMMS or equivalent tools.
- Ability to manage capital projects, contractors, and site upgrades with clear timelines and cost control.
- Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and facility‑related compliance requirements.
- Budget ownership and cost management across maintenance and capital spend.
- Ability to operate effectively in a plant environment and prioritize across competing operational needs.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of facilities and/or maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Prior supervisory experience leading maintenance or facilities teams.
- Demonstrated experience with facility systems, capital projects, and contractor management.
- Working knowledge of applicable safety and environmental regulations (OSHA, EPA).
