Maintenance Supervisor

Pay Rate: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

What we're looking for:
  • Perform all maintenance and cleaning tasks noted on the checklists and as directed by the facility manager/supervisor to ensure that all dirt, dust, litter and debris are removed from all areas of the facility.
  • Sweep and pick up around the entrances and exits to the garage and stairwells , as well as clean surface area rails, etc. on all levels, the booth, the office , and rest rooms.
  • Empty all trashcans in the garage, the booth , and the office.
  • Responsible for safety and security of company equipment.
  • Paint any and all areas of the facility as directed by the facility manager/supervisor to ensure that all painted surfaces such as poles, signs, doors, walls, curbs, islands, gates, etc. are properly maintained and look neat and clean.
  • Perform tasks such as replace light bulbs as needed or apply oil absorbent to oil spills.
  • Walk garage daily to note and correct any maintenance problems.
  • Check conditions on the ticket splitters, gates, ticket supply, time clock, and other equipment for proper functioning and general appearance.
  • Pick-up and delivery of winter supplies, sand, salt, fuel, power equipment, vehicles, etc.
  • Maintain an inventory of janitorial supplies and submit requests to re-stock supplies as needed.
  • Operate automatic sweepers, scrubbers, outdoor equipment ( such as weed eater ) , lawnmowers , or other electrical tools to repair or construct items, as applicable.
  • Shovel, plow , or blow snow from the entrance or exit ramps and in areas designated by the Facility Manager, as applicable.
  • Resolve customer complaints independently or with the aid of a supervisor.
  • Report any known accidents or violations of Company policy, safety hazards or any unusual occurrence to the local manager in a timely manner.
  • May be asked by local management to complete small cleaning or maintenance tasks according to the company’s maintenance checklists.
  • Other special projects as assigned by location management.
Landscaping Responsibilities
  • Maintain lawns, gardens, trees, shrubs, and other outdoor areas.
  • Mow, trim, edge, and fertilize lawns.
  • Plant flowers, shrubs, and trees.
  • Perform mulching, weeding, pruning, and seasonal cleanups.
  • Install and maintain landscape materials.
  • Operate basic landscaping equipment, including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hand tools.
  • Load, unload, and transport landscaping materials and equipment.
Winter Snow Responsibilities
  • Monitor weather/prepare crews and vendors for snow and ice events.
  • Coordinate snow removal and de-icing operations for commercial, residential, and/or municipal properties.
  • Communicate with snow vendors before, during, and after each storm to confirm staffing, equipment, materials, and readiness.
  • Dispatch and manage vendors throughout snow events and respond to changing weather conditions.
  • Inspect properties to verify that plowing, shoveling, salting, snow removal, and de-icing services are completed properly.
  • Maintain regular communication with vendors regarding service expectations, timing, quality, and deficiencies.
  • Track vendor arrivals, completion times, equipment, materials, and service activities.
  • Document storm activity, site conditions, service issues, and completed work using company systems, photographs, reports, or other required documentation.
  • Conduct property inspections during and after storms to ensure safe conditions and compliance with service standards.
  • Respond promptly to client concerns and coordinate corrective action with vendors.
  • Monitor salt, sand, and other winter materials and communicate replenishment needs.
  • Ensure all snow operations are performed in accordance with company safety procedures and applicable regulations.
  • Assist with post-storm reviews and vendor performance evaluations.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with snow removal contractors and subcontractors.
