Performs all cleaning duties on revenue, non-revenue vehicles and facilities. Perform all appropriate duties as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor.
- 1. Shift & Park Buses
- 2. Assist in the operation of the service lane
- 3. Check and report all safety and mechanical problems identified to the Maintenance Supervisor
- 4. General cleaning of vehicles & building as required.
- 5. Responsible for janitorial and recycling duties
- 1. Valid & current Connecticut driver's license
- 2. The ability to clean vehicles, the building and ground
- 3. Experience and proficient in operating heavy duty commercial vehicles and buses
- 4. The ability to understand written and oral instructions
- 5. The necessary skills to service buses and non-revenue vehicles
- 6. The ability to operated buses through the bus wash and park them in the storage barn/assigned areas
- 7. The ability to operate steam cleaner, floor scrubber, floor sweeper and fork truck
