Description:

This position involves providing physical therapy services in an outpatient setting.
The therapist will work with a diverse adult and geriatric patient population.
Daily patient census ranges from 50 to 60 patients.
The primary focus will be on general orthopedic care, including conditions such as arthritis, rotator cuff pathology, and low back/neck pain.
The therapist will address a variety of diagnoses including spinal fusion, tendinopathies, sprains, strains, and bunionectomies.
Care may include post-operative rehabilitation for procedures such as total hip and knee replacements, cervical surgeries, and shoulder repairs.
Additional responsibilities include developing home exercise programs and providing patient and family education.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate skills in body mechanics and rehabilitation techniques for conditions such as multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, Parkinson’s disease, stroke rehabilitation, spinal cord injuries, and traumatic brain injuries.
The position requires the ability to manage patient ratios effectively.
Block scheduling may be requested during the application process.
All candidates must meet state or national certification and/or licensing requirements.
