Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift position in Illinois with a 1:6 ratio and every other weekend coverage.
Responsibilities- Hospital medical-surgical unit setting
- Patient ratio is 1:6
- Night shifts with a schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week from 18:45 to 7:15
- Required to work every other weekend
- Floating to other units is required
- Uses Epic for charting
- Responsibilities include direct care and monitoring of Med/Surg patients
- Block scheduling is not accommodated
- No more than 7 days of requested time off may be approved per contract
- Local candidates are accepted
- Active IL RN license required at time of application
- Minimum of 1 year recent Med/Surg RN experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- NIHSS certification preferred
- Not open to pending licensure
- First-time travelers accepted
