Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a skilled RN for an Emergency Department position with Level I Trauma and urban ED experience required.
Responsibilities- Work in the Emergency Room rotating between three offsite clinics in the area
- Patient ratio is 1:4
- Level I Trauma center and urban emergency setting
- Requires working every other weekend
- Floating between area clinics required
- Day shift, 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 to 19:30
- Uses Epic for charting
- Open to first-time travelers
- Teaching hospital experience preferred
- Locals are accepted
- Maximum of 7 days RTO allowed
- Active IL RN license required
- Minimum of 1 year recent Emergency Department experience
- Previous experience in an urban, Level I Trauma ED required
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required
- TNCC and CPI certifications preferred
- Experience using Epic charting preferred
- Pending licenses not accepted
