Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in an urban Level I Trauma setting with a night shift schedule and Illinois RN license requirement.
Responsibilities- Position is based in Emergency Room settings at multiple offsite clinics
- Rotates between three clinic locations in Flossmoor, Calumet City, and Tinley Park
- Works with a 1:4 patient ratio
- Night shift schedule of three 12-hour shifts, 19:00 to 07:30
- Required to work every other weekend
- Floating is required between clinics
- Epic EMR is used for charting
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Maximum of 7 days of requested time off is permitted
- RNs expected to provide emergency care across multiple clinic sites
- Local candidates are accepted
- Active Illinois RN license required
- Minimum of 1 year of prior experience in an urban Level I Trauma Emergency Department
- Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS
- TNCC and CPI certifications preferred
- Experience in a teaching hospital is preferred
- Pending licenses are not accepted
