Emergency Room Nurse

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, compassionate care in a fast-paced Level I Trauma Emergency Department
. The ideal candidate will have experience managing a wide range of emergency and trauma cases, thrive in a high-acuity environment, and collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient care.

• Assess, prioritize, and provide emergency nursing care for patients across all age groups, including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.
• Monitor, evaluate, and document patient conditions while responding rapidly to changes in clinical status.
• Administer medications, blood products, IV therapies, and emergency interventions.
• Perform triage and prioritize patient care based on acuity.
• Assist with trauma resuscitations, procedural sedation, ventilator management, and critical care interventions.
• Manage patients with medical, surgical, behavioral health, and trauma-related emergencies.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Adhere to infection prevention, patient safety, and hospital policies.

• Minimum one (1) year of Emergency Room experience required.
• Prior experience in an Urban Level I Trauma Emergency Department required; teaching hospital experience preferred.
• Experience with critical care, trauma, triage, conscious sedation, and emergency interventions

• Proficiency with Epic electronic medical records preferred.

• 13-week contract position (possible extensions)
• Shift is 12 hrs/night (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), 36 hrs/week
• Location is Harvey, IL 60426
• Pay Rate for Locals: $46 - $50 Hourly
• Pay Rate for Travelers: $2,000 - $2,050 weekly
