Position availability is for 2nd shift (3:00 PM to 11:30 PM), Monday through Friday. Flexibility may be required to support production needs, including occasional overtime.

• Coach and train quality technicians on procedures related to testing, communication, and lab best practices.
• Distribute workflow to other technicians on the shift.
• Use established methods to verify quality of incoming raw materials and outgoing products; perform calculations to determine adjustments that may be required to ensure conformance.
• Prepare laboratory reagents; file retain samples in appropriate holding areas; enter test data into the SAP system; file vendor certifications, and raw material and production inspections in appropriate area.
• Communicate with Operations team regarding calculations and adjustments needed to batches.
• Monitor and calibrate Quality Control equipment.
• Participate in general housekeeping including routine cleaning and maintenance.
• Communicate with Quality Control Manager on a daily basis regarding issues, updates, etc.

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, or related science field required.
• 3+ years of proven laboratory testing experience in a manufacturing environment required.
• Exemplary verbal and written communication skills required.
• Experience using SAP computer system a plus.
