Technician II

Ryder System is seeking a Technician II to perform maintenance and light repair on transportation and warehouse equipment supporting end-to-end logistics operations. In this role, you'll complete inspections, diagnostics, and scheduled services on trucks, trailers, and material-handling equipment, ensuring safety, reliability, and DOT compliance. You'll document work orders, collaborate with drivers and operations teams, and follow strict safety procedures. Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on trucks, trailers, and warehouse equipment.
• Conduct safety and DOT-compliant inspections and document findings accurately.
• Diagnose basic mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Complete work orders in maintenance systems with detailed labor and parts records.
• Communicate equipment status and repair needs to drivers, supervisors, and operations teams.
• Follow Ryder's safety policies, PPE requirements, and housekeeping standards in the shop.
• Support parts ordering, inventory checks, and coordination with vendors as needed.
• Assist senior technicians with complex diagnostics and major repair tasks.
