Overview
Be a part of a world-class academic healthcare system, UChicago Medicine, as a Security Systems Analyst at our Ingalls Memorial Hospital. This position is a 100% onsite opportunity.
Job SummaryManages and administers the IMH Physical Security Systems including alarms, access controls and camera systems. Provides technical support and expertise regarding physical security system maintenance and expansion. Coordinates and manages contractors and software aspects of the IMH physical security systems technology team; schedules maintenance to ensure systems remain operational.
Essential Job Functions- Manages and maintains IMH Physical Security Systems; ensures systems are functioning properly and troubleshoots problems.
- Evaluates UCM security systems, performs physical security assessments and makes recommendations, including custom system design and placement of new equipment.
- Independently designs, configures and implements security system recommendations within scope of authority. Recommends and submits larger projects for leadership approval.
- Coordinates and schedules contractors for all physical security systems maintenance and expansion work performed.
- Manages and provides technical support and troubleshooting for physical security electronic equipment, card readers, duress buttons, cameras, intrusion systems and other related devices.
- Responsible for ensuring appropriate and approved electronic access control levels are maintained at all times.
- Extracts, analyzes and trends physical security system data. Provides statistical reports to leadership.
- Review recorded video and export video footage as needed. Maintains confidentiality in sensitive investigations.
- High School Diploma or High School Equivalent
- Five (5) years of physical security operations experience, preferably in healthcare
- One (1) year managing electronic access control systems, video surveillance systems and computer systems

Compensation& Benefits Overview
UChicago Medicine is committed to transparency in compensation and benefits. The pay range provided reflects the anticipated wage or salary reasonably expected to be offered for the position.
The pay range is based on a full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE) and is reflective of current market data, reviewed on an annual basis. Compensation offered at the time of hire will vary based on candidate qualifications and experience and organizational considerations, such as internal equity. Pay ranges for employees subject to Collective Bargaining Agreements are negotiated by the medical center and their respective union.
