About the roleReporting to the Facility Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor provides hands‑on leadership and direction to the site maintenance team, ensuring work is planned, prioritized, budgeted, and executed safely, efficiently, and cost‑effectively.
This role supports reliable plant operations through strong maintenance practices, effective workforce leadership, and disciplined execution of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
This is an opportunity to lead a skilled, multidisciplinary maintenance team and directly impact plant safety, equipment reliability, operational performance, and continuous improvement.
The Maintenance Supervisor will have meaningful ownership of maintenance strategy, outage execution, team development, contractor coordination, and reliability initiatives in a complex industrial environment.
The Maintenance Supervisor will lead Mechanics, Welders, Electrical & Instrumentation Technicians, and Storekeepers while working closely with Operations, Engineering, Environmental Health and Safety, Procurement, Quality, and site leadership.
The role oversees the Long‑Term Maintenance Plan, CMMS and work‑order processes, maintenance planning and scheduling, outage execution, spare‑parts inventory, budgeting, contractor management, mechanical integrity, root cause analysis, and reliability improvement across boilers, turbines, rotating machinery, electrical and instrumentation systems, and associated plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities- Serve as a safety leader, ensuring maintenance work complies with company policies and applicable federal, state, and local safety and environmental requirements, including NERC, NFPA, and National Electrical Code standards.
- Lead and coordinate daily maintenance activities while improving maintenance processes, system utilization, and preventive, predictive, and reliability‑centered maintenance programs.
- Supervise, coach, and develop a multidisciplinary maintenance team, including Mechanics, Welders, Electrical & Instrumentation Technicians, and Storekeepers.
- Manage the maintenance work‑order process, including planning, scheduling, backlog monitoring, prioritization, execution, closeout, and quality assurance.
- Coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on boilers, auxiliary, and associated plant equipment.
- Partner with Procurement on contractor management and strategic sourcing, including scopes of work, bid packages, purchase requisitions, and vendor performance.
- Develop, implement, and maintain maintenance procedures, Job Safety Analyses, and regulatory‑compliance documentation.
- Investigate equipment failures and implement sustainable corrective actions using Root Cause Failure Analysis, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, and other reliability methods.
