Kauai Air Conditioning & Plumbing is a well-established local mechanical contractor serving residential and commercial customers across the island of Kauai. We specialize in HVAC & Plumbing backed by decades of industry experience. We take pride in professionalism, safety, and building long-term relationships with our customers and community.
Kauai Air Conditioning & Plumbing is seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Associate to join our team. Being on time, hardworking, safety-focused, and willing to take initiative are essential qualities for success in this role.
Job Functions- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship).
- Deliver and pick up materials and equipment in the company vehicle — to and from job sites, vendors, and supply houses across the island.
- Receive and process incoming warehouse stock — unload, label, and store materials and equipment.
- Inspect incoming vendor deliveries against purchase orders and packing slips. Report damage, shortages, and discrepancies.
- Process returns, warranty exchanges, and core returns (e.g., compressor cores) per vendor procedures.
- Perform regular cycle counts and inventory control activities. Maintain quality standards for audits.
- Maintain accurate inventory documentation in Service Titan and other inventory systems — daily logs, equipment data, and stock movements.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse — optimize space utilization and follow safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse vehicle, including basic upkeep and cleanliness.
- Hold primary responsibility for the cleanliness of the office and restroom — daily upkeep, restocking supplies, and keeping common areas presentable.
- Take responsibility for safety performance and program compliance within the warehouse and during deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with the Warehouse Lead, Service Coordinators, Installations Coordinator, and field staff to support timely material delivery for service calls and installation projects.
- Maintain consistent productivity throughout the workday.
- Any additional duties or responsibilities deemed necessary.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver's license.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to relate with a variety of personality types.
- Attention to detail and the ability to complete work to a deadline.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain within 90 days).
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

- Ability to work well with others and with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work under constraints and to make the most of allotted resources.

- Proficient with basic computer applications (Word, email) and willingness to learn Service Titan or similar inventory software.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Ability to work outdoors, on roofs, and in attics or crawlspaces.
