Description:

Suitable for students with basic foundational knowledge and little to no practical experience, ideal for freshmen or sophomores who have completed only introductory courses.

Position Scope

* Sweeps, mops, and polishes floors. Vacuums and spot cleans carpets.

* Removes trash from trash containers

* Removes water from walks and driveways.

* Removes trash from trash containers.

Requirements

* Must be able to lift items weighing up to 75 lbs. on a regular basis.

* Hoses down and pressure washes Pacific Pavilion, front entrance, IMAX, Concessions and Alii Luau areas, and any other walkway in assigned area(s) as needed.

* Must be capable of a full range of body movement.

* Must be able to speak, read and write in English.

* Should have a grammar school education.

* No prior work experience necessary.

* Must exemplify the University Honor Code, including the dress and grooming principles and expectations.

* Preference will be given to students who can work during academic breaks.

Evening Shift: 3:45 PM

All applicants must be available for an on-site interview at the Polynesian Cultural Center in Laie, HI

Approximate starting hourly rate:

$14.00 - $16.00

The wage offered could be above or below range based on education and experience as it relates to the job description.
