DescriptionPosition Summary:
Ensure the property is clean and orderly while maintaining owner privacy. Responsible for performing a variety of domestic duties, including household maintenance, running errands, laundry and shopping.
Position Responsibilities:
- Ensures that the property is maintained to the highest aesthetic and performance standards
- Conducts frequent reviews of the physical surroundings to ensure quality issues are identified and rectified
- Sweeps, mops, polishes floors, and cleans furniture
- Shops for supplies and maintains inventories
- Adheres to annual housekeeping budget
- Maintains consistency in daily, weekly, and monthly activities
- Coordinates contract laundry and dry-cleaning and ensures appropriate quality
- Escorts contractors and vendors while maintaining privacy and security standards
- Assist with special events including set-up and post event clean-up
- Ongoing interest in the improvement of service, level of care, operational sophistication, and overall experience of the property
Essential skills and experience:
- High School Diploma required
- Minimum 3 years experience in the cleaning maintenance of luxury establishments
- Proficiency in working with high grade surfaces; wood, leather, furniture, carpet, silver, artwork, antiques
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; positive attitude
- Flexibility in working extended hours and weekends as needed
- Ability to demonstrate intuitive service
- Knowledge of general office procedures, administrative support, computer skills, and smartphone proficiency
- Ability to operate ISR computer system, intercom and general household equipment
- Excellent time management skills; ability to organize and coordinate multiple projects with available resources
- Keen attention to detail, honesty, adaptability, dependability, and a willingness to do hands-on work
- Ability to maintain a high level of strict confidentiality and professionalism
- Possess a valid drivers license with a good driving record
Valued but not required skills and experience:
- Private estate, luxury hotel, or similar hospitality experience beneficial
