Landscape Equipment Maintenance Specialist
Four Seasons Resort Lāna'i is looking for a Landscape Equipment Maintenance Specialist who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. What You'll DoThe Landscape Equipment Maintenance Specialist is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimizing landscape and grounds maintenance equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation across the resort. This role manages preventative maintenance programs, equipment diagnostics, repairs, inventory control, and operator support while promoting workplace safety, operational excellence, and the longevity of company assets. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and manage a comprehensive preventive maintenance program for golf course and landscape equipment, including inspections, diagnostics, repairs, blade grinding and sharpening, adjustments, and performance optimization to ensure reliability and operational efficiency
- Oversee the maintenance shop, tools, equipment, parts inventory, and repair records, ensuring proper organization, safe operation, and accurate tracking of maintenance activities and materials
- Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and testing of powered equipment, collaborating with vendors and manufacturers as needed to minimize downtime and support uninterrupted operations
- Train and mentor equipment operators on the proper use, care, and routine maintenance of equipment to promote safe, efficient, and effective operations
- Support golf course and grounds maintenance operations as needed while ensuring all work is performed in accordance with safety standards and proper care of company assets
- Maintain compliance with workplace safety policies and procedures, promoting a safe environment for team members and equipment operations
Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States. The hospitality business functions seven (7) days a week, twenty-four (24) hours a day and scheduled days and times may vary based on need. Holidays and weekends availability is required. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 80 lbs, and push/pull as needed during shifts. Hawaii Driver's License/Drivers Abstract is required for this role.
