Technician Apprentice

Tobler Marina is seeking a Marine Service Technician Apprentice. Experience not necessary, but a plus. Willing to train the right candidate. We carry the finest brands in the industry including:

Compensation: $20‑$26/hour DOE

Marine Technician Apprentices are responsible for the mechanical systems on the boats we service and sell. Daily tasks include rigging and prepping boats for sale and delivery, summerizing, winterizing, and performing routine maintenance under the supervision and direction of a skilled Marine Technician.

• Complete quality work on time with complaint, cause, and correction story.
• Insure accurate estimates and parts lists; provide safety inspection on all boats repaired, and protect while in process.
• Continue to update service advisors on the process of repair(s) to insure time allocated is achieved as prescheduled.
• Daily QC of work performed, cleanliness, and care of boat being worked on and assigned working area(s).
• Assist customers and staff as needed and provide technical explanation and/or orientations.

• Required:
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Self‑starter, organized, and high attention to detail
  • Enjoys problem solving
  • Ability to take direction and learn from a senior technician.
  • Please note that successful candidates will undergo a background check and/or a drug screening as part of the hiring process.
  • Clean driving record and abstract.
