Your Role

You will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance tasks, adhering to company policies, and working independently without supervision. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our custom industrial machinery and equipment.

This is an on‑site role in Hayward, CA, and it is a contract‑to‑hire position. The hours are 2PM‑10:30PM, with occasional mandatory overtime.

Your Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure safe and reliable equipment operation.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Work independently to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate maintenance documentation.
  • Manage inventory updates and coordinate replacement parts as needed.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support facility operations.
Skills and Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
  • 3–5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role.
  • Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and schematics.
  • Strong problem‑solving, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Proficient with Windows‑based computer systems.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in varying environmental conditions.

Hourly Range: $30 - $35

We are unable to sponsor H‑1B, F‑1 OPT, and STEM OPT extension at this time.

Additional compensation may include equity, bonuses, stipends, medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and long‑term disability insurance.
