- Assist in the design and development of power and signal distribution systems, including wiring harnesses, control panels, and signal pathways for industrial equipment.
- Collaborate with cross functional engineering teams on projects contributing to the layout, integration, and testing of electrical distribution systems and control networks.
- Support the creation of electrical schematics and documentation for product designs using EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, Auto Desk Inventor or similar design tools.
- Participate in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to power distribution and signal integrity, learning the fundamentals of diagnostics and problem-solving.
- Assist in ensuring all designs meet relevant industry standards and safety codes, including NEC, NFPA 70E, and UL 508A.
- Perform electrical testing, simulations, and validation processes to optimize the performance of power and signal distribution systems.
- Contribute fresh ideas to improve electrical designs and system performance, working in a collaborative and cross functional environment.
- Stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices in electrical engineering, especially in the area of power and signal distribution.
- Expertise in designing and integrating wiring harnesses, control panels, and signal distribution networks within industrial electrical environments.
- Strong understanding of electrical codes and standards, including NEC, NFPA 70E, and UL 508A, with the ability to apply them consistently across projects.
- Proficiency in EPLAN is strongly preferred; experience with AutoCAD Electrical or other design software tools will also be considered. Familiarity with Inventor is a plus.
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with strong organizational and time management skills, consistently delivering high‑quality results on schedule.
- Demonstrated experience mentoring junior engineers and leading cross‑functional projects, with the ability to coordinate effectively across teams and stakeholders.
- Solutions‑oriented problem solver with a keen attention to detail and the ability to anticipate challenges and drive projects to completion.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic engineering environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
- Knowledge of power and signal distribution concepts.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to organize data and draw sound conclusions with guidance.
- Solid communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
- Highly motivated individual who demonstrates initiative and a willingness to learn.
