About the Role

QProducts is seeking a hands‑on Operations Manager to lead manufacturing, production, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. This role is ideal for a technically grounded leader with a strong background in lean manufacturing, production supervision, industrial engineering, and quality systems, who enjoys being visible on the production floor and driving measurable improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost. You will partner closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Corporate Operations to ensure efficient production flow, disciplined processes, and consistent execution from order release through final delivery.

Key Responsibilities Manufacturing & Production Leadership
  • Lead day‑to‑day manufacturing and assembly operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high‑quality production.
  • Balance production schedules, staffing, and resources to meet customer demand while optimizing cost and throughput.
  • Maintain strong floor presence to support operators, supervisors, and quality personnel.
  • Drive performance across SQDC metrics (safety, quality, delivery, cost).
Continuous Improvement & Lean Manufacturing
  • Champion lean manufacturing principles across operations, including value stream mapping, line balancing, standard work, and waste reduction.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects from concept through implementation, delivering measurable gains in efficiency, quality, and cost.
  • Support development of labor standards, production methods, and optimized workflows.
  • Train and coach team members on lean tools and problem‑solving methodologies.
Quality & Process Control
  • Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate stock data within ERP and digital inventory platforms.
  • Update stock replenishment tools and review purchase order requirements to manufacturing sites as needed.
  • Implement and maintain robust inventory management and quality control systems.
  • Drive improvements in material flow, warehouse organization, and supply chain efficiency.
Inventory, Supply Chain & Material Flow
  • Monitor inventory levels and material availability to support uninterrupted production.
  • Drive improvements in material flow, warehouse organization, and production support processes.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain and Purchasing on replenishment needs and production planning.
Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, production supervision, industrial engineering, or continuous improvement roles.
  • Strong working knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Hands‑on leadership experience supporting production teams on the shop floor.
  • Experience working within quality systems such as ISO
    9001.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and project leadership skills.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
Preferred
  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Operations Management.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher).
  • Experience in automotive, industrial manufacturing, or appearance‑critical production environments.
  • Prior experience working in unionized manufacturing environments.
