Overview
Position:
Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room
Location:
Hazel Crest, IL
FTE: .9, 7p to 7a
Unit: ER with 30 beds and 6 low acuity spaces.
Responsibilities- As a nurse in this department, you will assist the ER team area only.
- Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and effective communication.
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association and ACLS
- Must possess at minimum 2 years telemetry, critical care, Cath Lab, or PACU nursing experience
