Aspire Bakeries is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our modern bakery manufacturing facility running safely and efficiently. In this on-site role, you will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production and packaging equipment-mixers, ovens, conveyors, and facility systems-supporting a safety-obsessed, quality-driven culture. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, timely repairs, equipment inspections, and accurate documentation in maintenance systems. You'll work closely with production teams to minimize downtime, follow strict food-safety, GMP, and OSHA standards, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on bakery production and packaging equipment to maximize uptime
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues and complete timely repairs
  • Inspect conveyors, mixers, ovens, and facility systems to ensure safe, efficient operation
  • Follow food-safety, GMP, and OSHA standards while working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Document maintenance activities, parts usage, and downtime in CMMS or maintenance logs
  • Collaborate with production teams to plan maintenance around schedules and minimize disruption
  • Support continuous improvement, root-cause analysis, and reliability initiatives
  • Assist with equipment installations, line changeovers, and upgrades as needed
  • Maintain clean, organized work areas and properly handle tools and spare parts
  • Participate in safety programs, training, and lockout/tagout procedures
