Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Environmental Services (EVS) Technician to join our team at a senior living facility. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning and sanitation, a strong work ethic, and a passion for working in a healthcare or senior living setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily cleaning and sanitation of resident rooms, common areas, offices, and restrooms.
Follow established cleaning protocols and infection control procedures to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
Operate cleaning equipment, including vacuums, floor scrubbers, and carpet cleaners.
Handle waste management, including sorting and disposing of trash, recycling, and biohazardous materials according to facility guidelines.
Restock cleaning supplies and report any shortages to the supervisor.
Respond promptly to emergency cleaning requests and address spills or other safety hazards.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure all areas of the facility are cleaned according to schedule.
Maintain a friendly and respectful attitude towards residents and staff, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
