The Dish Machine Tech is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, servicing, and refurbishing various types of warewashing, dish, and dispensing machines within the company’s warehouse facility. This role focuses on inspecting, repairing, and preparing equipment for deployment and reuse. No prior technical experience is required, as comprehensive training will be provided. Success in this role demonstrates a natural aptitude for working with technical equipment and an interest in understanding how machines operate.
The position also requires maintaining a clean work environment and following all established ISO and safety procedures.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and service warewashing, dish, and dispensing machines in the warehouse.
- Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and basic repairs on equipment.
- Identify common mechanical and operational issues using established procedures.
- Replace standard parts and components as needed.
- Test equipment to ensure proper functionality before deployment.
- Prepare and stage machines for delivery or installation.
- Maintain accurate service and maintenance records.
- Follow safety guidelines and equipment handling procedures.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Coordinate with supervisors and team members to prioritize workload.
- Assist with inventory management of parts, tools, and supplies.
- Support continuous improvement of maintenance and refurbishment processes.
- Perform preventive maintenance.
- Assist with general facility maintenance and other duties as required.
- Fill in for SCS Account Managers in the local area when needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certificate in Multi‑Craft Maintenance is preferred.
- 1–2 years related experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Experience and comfort working in a chemical plant environment is preferred.
