Multi-Craft Technician

$36.79/hr. + $1.00/hr shift Differential for Off-shift Hours

• Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems.
• Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
• Maintains time and production records.
• Confers with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments.
• Studies production and operation schedules and confers with other staff and maintenance personnel to determine when planned maintenance will least interfere with daily operations.
• Plans and coordinates schedule of preventive maintenance for equipment, machinery, tools, or building.
• Reviews manufacturer’s service manuals, usage schedules, and maintenance records to determine optimum frequency of preventive maintenance.
• Supervises the installation of electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment.
• Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaging in installing, inspecting, testing, repairing, adjusting, and calibrating.
• Writing and updating policies and procedures.

• Fifth year college or university program certificate, 2-4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Lean concept sustainment & problem-solving skills.
• Safety action orientated.
• Flexibility of shift schedule including overtime and weekends.
• Must have an outgoing positive attitude, be a team player and have a strong work ethic.
• Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally team lift more than 50 pounds. Be able to push and pull extremely heavy loads using leverage tools.
