This is an onsite role and will be part of the Facilities and Production Equipment Team in our Hemet, CA location.
This is a Day Shift position.
Hours:
6am - 2:30pm PT. Overtime and weekends may be required.
The is an indoor industrial work environment with good ventilation, adequate lighting, and low to moderate noise levels. Employees will be required to wear the proper, employer provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), which may include eye protection, steel toe shoes and gloves as needed.

Reporting to the Facilities/Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance - Janitor maintains buildings and grounds in clean, orderly condition.
In this role, a typical day will look like:
* Maintains premises, rest and working areas of offices and industrial buildings in clean and orderly condition.
* Performs a combination of dusting furniture, walls, fixtures or equipment.
* Performs sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, waxing or buffing floors.
* Removes refuse.
* Polishing of furniture, fixtures or trimmings.
* Provides janitorial supplies to appropriate areas.
* Performs cleaning of lavatories, showers or rest rooms.
* Prepares paint and applies to various structures.
* Maintains company grounds and outside areas in neat and orderly fashion. Removes waste, debris and other related materials from company grounds.
* Ensures outside manufacturing waste storage areas are kept neat and clean. Notifies Maintenance Manager or HR Manager immediately upon detecting leakage or spills.
* Operates powered industrial truck (forklift) to load and unload material.
* Observes and complies with all safety regulations and company policies.
* Performs other duties as required.
* Supports continuous improvement activities (DBS).
* Maintains a commitment to teamwork and a positive, supportive attitude to all personnel.
The essential requirements of the job include:
* High School Diploma or equivalent.
* A minimum of 1 year of experience with Janitorial work or related experience.
It would be an asset if you have:
* Self-motivated, self-starter, sense of urgency and personable.
* Ability to read/understand written instructions.
* Ability to work effectively with both employees and managers.
* Ability to convey a positive and professional image at the workplace.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage many tasks simultaneously.
* Ability to maintain productivity levels that meet or exceed expectations.
