Duties And ResponsibilitiesNon-climate environment.
SUMMARYKeep internal premises of the building in a clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties. Will maintain a positive customer-focused attitude, with a high standard of respect for people and their different personalities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude, but are not limited to, the following:
- Clean the training room, breakrooms and common areas for the office, maintenance, corrugator, sheet line, shipping and logistics
- Dust lockers, walls, air vents, rails, window shelves, etc. on production floor
- Wash/wipe down walls, windows, door panels
- Cleans Production breakroom, rest rooms, stairways, and other work areas.
- Sweep and mop floors
- Empty recycling and waste baskets in all areas of the plant [offices & production]
- Replenishes bathroom supplies – toilet paper, paper towels, etc.
- Wipe down all touch surfaces – cabinets, door handles, tables, chairs, etc.
- Wipe and disinfect toilet seats, urinals, and counters
- Dust and wipe down office desks
- Monitor cleaning supplies to ensure adequate supply resources are available.
- Maintains inventory of all cleaning chemicals and supplies in inventory room
- Restock paper goods, utensils, and other food supplies in all breakroom & common areas
- Perform all duties in compliance with regulatory requirements as well as company policies and procedures

This job consists of routine work to maintain the cleanliness of an assigned facility and grounds. An employee in this class, under the supervision of an administrator or manager, receives general direction and leadership from a day or night custodial supervisor. This employee performs cleaning and maintenance functions on the day shift. Work is evaluated through observation while work is in progress and by inspection of completed assignments.
Preferred QualificationsFour (4) or more years of custodian experience in manufacturing or in a food safety environment
Required Knowledge, Skills, And AbilitiesWorking knowledge of cleaning materials and equipment
Knowledge of the English language to understand operating instructions for cleaning equipment and materials and safety and accident prevention.
