Custodian, Manufacturing

The Custodian is responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of all areas assigned.

• Perform janitorial duties.
• Complete daily schedule tasks.
• Handle hazardous waste (collect, classify, sort, store, ship, receive, label, clean, recycle, package).
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment.
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area.
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Address risk behavior of others and self.
• Collaborate in a team with other employees.
• Perform repetitive tasks and maintain a clean work area.
• Follow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules.
• Take direction and respond to supervision.
• Communicate professionally with lead, supervisor, co‑workers, managers, and customers.
• Fill in during staff shortages.
• Support shift lead with punch‑list items.
• Wear proper personal protective equipment.
• Present a professional appearance and conduct.
• Understand customer service and satisfaction.
• Use reporting systems for environmental data.

• No specific education requirement; 3‑6 months training or experience preferred or equivalent combination.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.
• Completed safety and task training certification.
• Forklift certification may be required.
• Bilingual a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment; willing to share with team.
• Knowledge of upkeep and care of cleaning equipment.
• Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals and their safe, efficient use.
• No supervisory responsibilities.

The employee is frequently required to sit and talk or listen. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.

Wednesday–Sunday, 3:30pm – 12:00am. Saturday and Sunday schedules may change. $16.00–$22.00 USD hourly.
