This is a 12-month position

Responsibilities
  • Custodians will perform all janitorial functions including: sweeping, mopping, buffing, scrubbing, waxing, vacuuming, and sanitizing.
  • Custodians will work with various chemicals during the work day and must have an understanding of the use of each chemical.
  • The job will require frequent bending, lifting, stooping, standing and walking.
  • Custodians will work a scheduled shift.
  • Must have an understanding of general safety principles.
  • Will be under the direct supervision of the Building Principal during the academic year.
  • Custodians will work at varying district schools during the summer months.
  • During the summer months, Custodians will be under the direct supervision of the Custodial Supervisor or their designee.

    • Must be able to pass a FBI/TBI fingerprint background.
