Porter / Yard Worker

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Porter / Yard Worker to support our growing rental business. The role requires stationing and retrieving equipment on location property, maintaining a written maintenance schedule, servicing equipment as necessary, and inspecting equipment before and after rental to document lost or damaged items.

• Station and retrieve equipment on the location’s property.
• Maintain a written maintenance schedule.
• Service equipment to ensure it meets specifications.
• Inspect equipment before and after rental to document any loss or damage.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with common construction and industrial tools preferred.
• Some experience or training in mechanical equipment repair preferred.

• Effective written and oral communication with customers.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
• General mechanical aptitude.
• Safety‑focused mindset.
• Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be required based on location needs.

The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting 50 pounds or more. Work may be performed indoors and outdoors as required by the job.

Base Pay Range: $17.75 – $22.55 per hour. Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
