Job Description :
Responsibilities:
- The Assistant will be responsible for performing a wide range of activities either on their own or in a group setting.
- Spring Warehouse activities include following designated protocols, receiving, treating, splitting, organizing and inventory management of seed corn.
- Support general facility operations including basic clean-up, organization of supplies, and other routine tasks as they arise.
- The Assistant may also perform additional tasks as requested by the Supervisor.
- Assistant should be capable of performing with a high level of accuracy.
- Frequent lifting and moving of seed and other supplies may be required.
- The ability to run a forklift preferred but not required.
- Preferred candidate will be detailed oriented and focused on being a team contributor.
- Extended position may also provide support for field activities including roguing, detasseling, data collection and harvest activities.
