Mechanical Systems Inspector – Water Infrastructure

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect process piping pumps valves treatment equipment foundations supports and restraints
• Verify installations comply with approved drawings specifications and manufacturer requirements
• Witness and document hydrostatic testing pressure testing equipment startup and commissioning activities
• Review shop drawings and submittals to support inspection activities
• Document non conforming work and coordinate corrective actions
• Maintain daily reports field documentation and photo records
• Participate in pre installation meetings hold points and quality reviews
• Monitor contractor quality control activities and support project commissioning efforts

• 5 years of mechanical inspection or construction experience
• Experience on water wastewater heavy civil or industrial infrastructure projects
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings specifications P&IDs and isometrics
• Knowledge of mechanical equipment installation piping systems testing and commissioning
• Familiarity with AWWA ASTM and ASME standards preferred
• Experience with welding inspection or CWI certification is a plus
• Proficiency with Procore Bluebeam and Microsoft Office
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred
• Strong communication documentation and organizational skills
• Valid drivers license required
• Ability to pass background check MVR review and drug screening
