Housekeeper, Maintenance​/Cleaning

Overview

Part-time Housekeeper position at a mixed-use, multifamily community located in Hewitt, TX. Reports directly to the Community Manager and is responsible for the overall cleanliness, sanitation, and safety of the community, while maintaining a customer-focused approach.

• Work with the Community Manager to ensure that organizational goals are achieved while adhering to DMA community standards.
• Collaborate with maintenance staff to meet quality standards for the entire community, including all common areas, vacant and model units.
• Report all safety hazards to the Community Manager immediately.
• Clean all vacant units monthly; clean models weekly.
• Track all supplies, notifying the Community Manager when inventory is low.
• Assist with repairing or ordering cleaning equipment as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Previous experience as a housekeeper or janitorial position.
• Ability to prioritize work, organize tasks, and handle all with a strong sense of urgency.
• Strong attention to detail.
• General knowledge of computers and email.

• Critical thinking, decision making, meeting deadlines, multitasking, organizational skills, prioritizing tasks, planning, problem-solving, and teamwork; ability to work independently.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License required.

Normal physical activity is required and may involve standing, walking, reaching, bending, crouching, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Workers may be indoors or outdoors and may be exposed to inclement weather and cleaning chemicals. Safety equipment such as goggles, gloves, and safety boots may be required. Daily activities include talking, hearing, standing, handling objects, operating tools or controls, and reaching with hands and arms.

This is a part-time position;
Monday through Friday; 8am - 2pm daily
