Hotel Engineering Supervisor

In this role, you will oversee the maintenance and repair of all mechanical and electrical equipment within the hotel, ensuring that our guests have a safe and comfortable stay. You will maintain high morale for the engineering shift; teach engineering staff how to maintain and repair equipment; solicit suggestions or input from other members of the engineering team; coach or counsel team members effectively;

ensure staff consistently achieves department standards; and discuss problems with employees as they arise.

• Read, write, speak and understand English
• 3–5 years of HVAC or institutional HVAC systems experience preferred
• Refrigeration, HVAC certification or journeyman level experience
• Previous management or supervisory experience of 2–3 years
• Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, emergency, and preventive maintenance systems and related disciplines
• Basic computer and administrative skills
• Meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction
• Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other employees
• Valid driver’s license preferred
