Compensation:
Hourly base pay rate $29.38 - $44.09/hr position may be eligible for additional compensation such as commission and incentive program.
- Maintenance and Inspections
- Lead a team of nine Custodial Technicians, creating schedules, planning, assigning work, and inspecting completed work.
- Perform and oversee general custodial functions such as sweeping, mopping, dusting of restrooms and offices; cleaning office furniture, walls, light fixtures, windows, and floors; and emptying trash.
- Serve as subject‑matter expert in selecting appropriate cleaning and sanitizing materials.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality consistent with industry standards and departmental expectations.
- Purchase and inventory supplies and equipment to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Perform proactive building inspections to identify and address concerns impacting performance, employee comfort and safety.
- Operations and Project Management
- Respond to emergency calls and take necessary steps to protect customers, employees and property.
- Assume initial lead role in emergency response when directed.
- Assist with planning and execution of reconfigurations, furniture relocations and setups for events.
- Contact and communicate with vendors for cost estimates and process invoices.
- Inspect buildings, enter data into checklists and track work orders.
- Collaborate on project budgets and emergency responses.
- Assist other facilities personnel as needed.
- Maintain and safeguard assigned company assets such as smartphones, laptops, keys, tools and carts.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, federal and OSHA facilities‑related regulations.
- System Management and Reporting
- Utilize and review spreadsheets and other reporting tools and communicate within the Microsoft Office suite.
- Use Work Order Management System software for work order management.
- Maintain records and support environmental compliance group initiatives.
- Observe, report and address safety issues.
- Minimum five years custodial or janitorial experience.
- HS diploma, GED or relevant work experience.
- Safe drivers with a valid driver's license required.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to operate and perform work on aerial work platforms.
- Excellent organizational, prioritization, multi‑tasking, math, written, verbal and collaborative skills.
- Preferred: prior experience in a leadership position.
The role works in office and outdoor environments with potential exposure to inclement weather. Work may also occur in warehouses or specialized facility environments. Travel to remote offices involves traffic and emergency responses both day and night. Repetitive bending, lifting, reaching, sitting, kneeling, pushing, pulling, navigating stairs, standing, and carrying parts, tools and supplies are required. Use of ladders, step stools, hydraulic lift gates, tie‑down straps, forklifts and scissor lifts may be necessary.
