The School Librarian oversees the school library and promotes a love of reading, learning, and responsible use of information. The librarian maintains an engaging, age-appropriate collection that supports the school curriculum and provides students with opportunities to develop research, reading, and information-literacy skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage, organize, and maintain the library collection and resources.
- Teach library, research, reading, and information-literacy skills.
- Collaborate with teachers to support classroom curriculum and student learning.
- Assist students in selecting appropriate books and resources.
- Promote a love of reading through activities, displays, and special programs.
- Maintain an orderly, welcoming, and safe library environment.
- Monitor library materials, circulation, and inventory.
- Support the Catholic mission and values of the school and serve as a positive role model for students.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the principal.

This position has an hourly range of $16.00 - $18.00. An employee’s pay within the hourly range will be based on many factors including but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and organizational needs.
