Job Title

Floor Maintenance Assistant (S)

• Perform skilled work in caring and upkeep of floor surfaces: buffing, stripping, waxing, and cleaning floors, including wood, tile, terrazzo, and carpeted surfaces.
• Serve as a lead worker ensuring proper techniques and procedures are followed.
• Maintain knowledge of floor finishing methods and correct use of chemical agents.
• Assist in carpet cleaning and general housekeeping tasks.

6:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday with rotating weekends as assigned.

• At least one year of floor maintenance experience in a commercial or institutional setting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Working knowledge of floor care, cleaning, and finishing techniques.
• Skill in the use and care of floor maintenance equipment.
• Ability to follow instructions and procedural directions for cleaning products.
• High School Diploma or GED and a valid North Carolina Driver's License.

$31,200.00 – $48,810.00
