Custodian Environmental Air Systems, a full-service mechanical contractor, is seeking a Custodian to join our manufacturing shop in High Point, North Carolina. position is available on first shift.

** 6:00am-4:30pm with OT as necessary

** 250 Swathmore Ave, High Point, NC 27263
** Responsibilities:
*** Clean and sanitize restrooms and breakrooms
* Clean and sweep manufacturing facility daily
* Dust walls
* Collect trash outside the manufacturing facility
* Operate weed whacker to maintain outdoor shrubbery as needed
* Maintain a neat and orderly custodian room; ensure cleaning and maintenance supplies are stocked
* Work safely and adhere to all safety rules and policies
* Work in a fast-paced team environment
** Education Requirements/

Qualifications:

*** Reading and speaking proficiency in either English or Spanish required.
* Minimum of a high school education or equivalent
* Previous janitor or maintenance experience preferred
* Previous experience in a manufacturing or construction environment preferred
** Job Requirements/Special

Skills:

*** Ability to speak and read either English or Spanish
* Ability to work independently and on a team
* Strong verbal communication skills
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
* Ability to stand and work for prolonged periods of time
* Ability to work in conditions of varying heat and cold where noise levels are at or above 90 decibels
