Custodial Maintenance Technician

Overview

Summary:

The Custodial Maintenance Team Member is responsible for maintaining basic housekeeping for the Quality Control Center.

Location:

Acworth, GA.

Schedule:

Tuesday–Saturday mornings with a 5:00 AM start.

• Clean restrooms, break rooms, offices, hallways, and entryways as assigned.
• Clean all areas of the plant as directed by supervisor.
• Perform minor facility maintenance tasks as assigned by supervisor.
• Operate floor maintenance equipment to clean carpets and other flooring.
• Perform rodent trap maintenance by checking dates and documenting regular checks.
• Remove trash from all areas as scheduled and perform basic maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Perform sewer trap sanitation throughout the facility to ensure they meet PJFS quality standards.
• Ensure the perimeter of the facility is clean and free of debris.
• Monitor and maintain accurate and complete departmental records of quality checks.

• Ability to read, write, and understand written and verbal policy, instruction, and direction in English.
• Ability to read and understand the safe use of cleaning chemicals and painting materials.
• Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment including floor scrubber, scissor lift, polisher, and other equipment.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Housekeeping, custodial, sanitation experience preferred.
