Responsibilities
  • Conducting maintenance and repairs of the city’s stormwater system
  • Cleaning and clearing stormwater channels, culverts, and ditches
  • Performing regular inspections to identify potential issues and address them promptly
  • Responding to drainage‑related emergencies and coordinating with other city departments and contractors as needed
  • Assisting in the construction of new stormwater infrastructure projects
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Six (6) months of previous experience that demonstrates the ability to fulfill the physical requirements
  • Able to obtain a CDL class B license within (12) twelve months of employment.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills
